Kanchiron

Japanese: 官地論 - かんちろん

A war chronicle between Kaga Province guardian Togashi Masachika and the Hokuriku Ikko Ikki. It describes the events up until 1488 (Chokyo 2) when the Togashi clan was destroyed at Takaoyama Castle in Kanazawa. One volume. Date of creation and author unknown. There are four variant versions, also known as "Fureiki," "Kaga no Kuni Kojōki," "Togashiki," and "Kashu Kanchiron." The account quotes Confucianism and the doctrines of Jodo Shinshu, and the positions of Togashi and the Ikki are treated fairly. It is a good historical source for an overview of how the Ikko Ikki destroyed the guardian. Included in "Zoku Gunsho Ruiju" and "Nihon Shiso Taikei." [Naito Noriko]

加賀国守護富樫政親と北陸一向一揆との戦記。1488年(長享2)富樫氏が金沢高尾山城で滅亡するまでを記述。1巻。成立年代，著者不明。4種の異本があり《富麗記》《加賀国中古記》《富樫記》《加州官地論》ともいう。記述に儒学，浄土真宗の教義の引用がみられ，富樫と一揆の立場が公平に扱われている。一向一揆が守護を滅ぼしたありさまを概観するうえでの好史料。《続群書類従》《日本思想大系》所収。【内藤範子】
