Japanese: 用字格 - ようじかく

Written by Ito Togai. 3 volumes. Prefaced in 1703 (Genroku 16). A grammar book for writing classical Chinese. Contrasts easily misused Chinese sentence structures such as "fu ni shu fu" (not necessary, not necessary) and "zhi yue yue" (meaning, saying), and explains the differences in meaning that depend on the rules of word order and their position in the sentence with a wealth of examples. Contains 323 rules of word order such as "fu, kaku, mi...hi, so, bian." Published in 1711 (Shotoku 1), the 2-volume edition was plagiarized. The 3-volume "Shinkan Shoku" (New Edition, Proofreading) published in 1734 (Kyoho 19) was the first edition corrected by Okuda Shikyou, and the "Shokure Reprint" (Proofreading and Reprinting) published in 1792 (Kansei 4) is a reprint by his son Ito Yoshitsugu.

伊藤東涯の著。3巻。元禄16年(1703)自序。漢文(中国古典語)作成のための文法書。誤用しやすい漢語の構文を〈不必　必不〉〈之謂　謂之〉のように対比させ，語順の規則とその語序(文中の位置)による文義の相違を，豊富な用例をあげて説明した。〈不･可･未……非･所･便〉などの〈字格(語順の規則)〉323条を収める。正徳1年(1711)版，2巻本は盗刻。享保19年(1734)〈新刊校正〉3巻が奥田士亨校定の初版，寛政4年(1792)〈校正再刻〉は子の伊藤善韶（よしつぐ）の再版本。
