Dessauer, Friedrich
Born: July 19, 1881 in Aschaffenburg
German biophysicist and philosopher. Professor at universities in Frankfurt (1921), Istanbul (1934), Freiburg (1937), and Frankfurt (1950). Founder of quantum biology. Contributed to deep therapy using radiation. Also wrote extensively on philosophy and religion, attempting a new synthesis of natural science, technology, philosophy, and religion. In addition to many books on radiation therapy, he also wrote Philosophie der Technik (1927).
