[1] [Noun] = Kisho tenketsu (introduction, development, twist, and conclusion) ※Sasamegoto (c. 1463-64) Vol. 1 “It is the same with poetry, which can be called an introduction, development, twist, and conclusion.” [2] This is a humorous story written and illustrated by Jippensha Ikku. It was published in 1802 ( Kyowa 2 ). Set in the Yoshiwara district, it depicts the events that arise from a love triangle between two prostitutes and one customer, as well as the human emotions that are entangled in it, in four chapters: introduction, development, twist, and conclusion.
