Yuki [town] - Yuki

Japanese: 由岐[町] - ゆき

A former town in Kaifu County in the southern part of Tokushima Prefecture. Facing the Pacific Ocean, it is long and narrow from east to west. The main settlement, through which the Mugi Line passes, faces the submerged coast of Yuki Bay, with Hera Island at the mouth of the bay. The fishing industry is thriving, with line-and-line fishing, fixed net fishing, and aquaculture being practiced. There is a swimming beach at Tainohama. In March 2006, it merged with Hiwasa Town, Kaifu County, to become Minami Town, Kaifu County. 23.16 ^km2 . 3,588 people (2003).

徳島県南部，海部(かいふ)郡の旧町。太平洋に面し，東西に細長い。牟岐(むぎ)線が通じる主集落は沈降海岸の由岐湾に面し，湾口に箆(へら)島がある。水産業が盛んで，一本釣り，定置網，栽培漁業などを行う。田井ノ浜には海水浴場がある。2006年３月，海部郡日和佐町と合併し町制，海部郡美波町となる。23.16km²。3588人（2003）。
