A Chinese dictionary. Edited by Shu Xincheng, Shen Yi, Xu Yuanhuo, and Zhang Xiangzhu. Published in 1937 by Zhonghua Book Company in Shanghai. Published to compete with Ciyuan. The scope of vocabulary included was expanded to include plays and novels from the Song and Yuan dynasties, and the sources were clearly stated. At the end of the book, there is a table of pronunciations of commonly used characters in Chinese, an index of translated names in Spanish, and other information.
