...The Ichinomiya of Bizen Province, originally a small national shrine. The deity worshipped is Ookibitsuhiko-no-Mikoto, the patron deity of the Kibi clan, just like Kibitsu Shrine in Bitchu, and it is presumed to be a branch shrine of the Kibitsu Shrine. Located at the eastern foot of Kibi-no-Nakayama, it has been revered as the most important shrine in Bizen since ancient times.
