A type of Chinese architectural structure, the exterior of which resembles wooden brackets, doors, and windows, but which is actually made of pure brick masonry and has a vault structure without beams inside. It is also called "Buryoden." Its founding date is unknown, but remains show that it appeared at the latest in the 15th century, and was actively constructed in the second half of the 16th century.
