Among them, volumes 7-9 of the Supplement to Ensei Iho Meibutsu Ko are volumes 1-3 of the Elements Edition, and they were the first publications to introduce Lavoisier's concept of elements to Japan, Botanical Science Enlightenment was a full-fledged botanical publication, and Seimi Kaisou was the first systematic chemistry publication in Japan, and they had a great influence on later generations, including on terminology. These are not simply translations, but comparisons with Japanese and Chinese knowledge, experiments and considerations, and a compilation of botany and chemistry in Japanese, making them already modern treatises and research books.
