A collection of sermons in which Muso Soseki answered questions from Ashikaga Tadayoshi. 3 volumes. Also known as "Mutsūmondō." A collection of questions and answers written in kana with 93 chapters in total. In response to Tadayoshi's wish to show it to laypeople aspiring to Zen and to women, Otaka Shigenari, who served the Ashikaga clan and studied under Soseki, published it with a postscript by Jikusen Bonsen in September 1342 (the first year of the Kōei era) and a second postscript in 1344. In addition to the Gozan edition, there are also Joinji, Genna, Kan'ei, Shohō, and Bunsei editions, and they are included in the Iwanami Bunko and other publications. "Koten Shiryōrui Ju 5" contains a facsimile of the Gozan edition.
