Misaki [town] - Misaki
An old town in Nishiuwa District, occupying the tip of the Sadamisaki Peninsula in western Ehime Prefecture. With little flat land, terraced fields are the main crop, with most of the produce being summer mandarin oranges. Ama divers also gather abalone, turban shells, and seaweed. There are shipping routes from the main settlement, Misaki, to Yawatahama City and Beppu City. In April 2005, it was incorporated into Seto Town and Ikata Town in Nishiuwa District. 33.61 km2 . 4,149 people (2003).

愛媛県西部,佐田岬半島先端部を占める西宇和郡の旧町。平地に乏しく,段々畑の畑作が主でナツミカンの産が多い。海士(あま)によるアワビ,サザエ,テングサの採取も行われる。主集落三崎から八幡浜市と別府市へ航路がある。2005年4月西宇和郡瀬戸町と伊方町へ編入。33.61km2。4149人(2003)。
