A wildcat with a flat forehead and a face that is not what you would call cat-like. A mammal of the Felidae family in the carnivora order. Found in the Malay Peninsula, Sumatra, and Borneo. Body length 41-50cm, tail length 13-15cm, weight 1.5-2.5kg. It has a stocky body, very short limbs, and small front and back feet. Its claws cannot be completely retracted, and are always sticking out. The dorsal surface of the body is reddish brown to dark brown, with white tips of the supercilium, giving it a marbled appearance. The underside is white.
