Rail - rail (English spelling)

Japanese: 軌条 - きじょう(英語表記)rail
Rail - rail (English spelling)
A type of bar. Refers to rails and their accessories (fish plates, tie plates, bolts, nuts, etc.). The material must be wear-resistant, fatigue-resistant, corrosion-resistant, and weldable, and is usually made of high carbon steel (rail carbon steel). High manganese steel is used for parts that are particularly susceptible to impacts, such as point rails. Rails that weigh 30 kg or more per meter are called ordinary rails, and those that weigh less than 30 kg are called light rails. There are also heat-treated rails, conductive rails, and special rails for cranes and elevator guides.
