Also known as hon-gin-gaeshi. Real estate transactions with a repurchase clause were conducted in the Middle Ages. In some cases, land could be bought back at any time by paying back the purchase price, or it could be bought back after a certain period of time. 本銀返しとも。中世に行われた，買戻約款付(やっかんつき)の不動産の売買。いったん売った土地でも代価の銭を返せばいつでも取り戻せる場合，一定期間後に買い戻せる場合などがあった。代価が米穀の場合を本物返しという。
