Grass harvester - Grass harvester

Japanese:
Grass harvester - Grass harvester
A machine that cuts grass. There are many types, but they can be broadly divided into those for making grass into hay and those for making silage. Grass harvesters have been used for a long time, and from the latter half of the 1800s, mowers using animal power began to be used to cut grass, replacing the manual harvesting with scythes that had been used until then. This was followed by the development of the hay tedder, which turns the grass over to promote drying of the grass cut down by the mower and left on the ground, the hay rake, which collects the grass in rows for storage, and the hay loader, which picks up the grass that has been dried on the ground and loads it onto a transport vehicle.
