[1] [noun] A person who excelled in writing and literature and was revered as the founder of a school of writing. A master of writing and literature. [2] The temple title of a Chinese or Korean emperor. In China, there were three emperors: the 14th emperor of the Tang Dynasty, Li Ang, the 9th emperor of the Yuan Dynasty, Du Chimur, and the 9th emperor of the Qing Dynasty, Xianfeng. In Korea, there were two kings: the 11th emperor of Goryeo, Wang Hui, and the 5th emperor of the Yi Dynasty, Li Jiao .
