Fujiwara Tamenari - For the sake of Fujiwara

Japanese:
Fujiwara Tamenari - For the sake of Fujiwara
Year of death: Unknown (Year of death unknown)
Year of birth: around 1114
A poet of the Heian period. The second son of Tokiwa Tango no Kami Tametada. His mother was the daughter (Natsutomo) of Tachibana no Dayu (perhaps Toshimune). He became a monk and called himself Jakunen, and together with his younger brothers Tametada (Jakucho) and Yorinari (Jakuzen), he was known as the Tokiwa Sanjaku (Ohara Sanjaku). In addition to the two poetry contests organized by his father Tametada, after he became a monk he also wrote the "Shigeie Family Poetry Contest" in 1166, the "Sumiyoshi Shrine Poetry Contest" in 1169, the "Hirota Shrine Poetry Contest" in 1172, the "Jisho Thirty-six Poets Poetry Contest" before 1179, and the "Ipponkyo Waka Kaishi" around 1181. His ability as a poet is the least highly rated of the three. His style is composed. <References> Inoue Muneo, "Research on the Biographies of Poets of the Late Heian Period, Revised Edition"
