Beverage industry

Beverages are broadly classified into alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and the manufacturing industry of these is called the beverage industry. Alcoholic beverages, or alcoholic beverages, include mainly sake, beer, whiskey, and grape wine, while non-alcoholic beverages include soft drinks such as carbonated drinks, fruit drinks, and concentrated lactic acid drinks, as well as coffee, black tea, and green tea, and the range is wide.

Japan's Liquor Tax Act defines alcoholic beverages as any beverage with an alcohol content of 1 percent or more, and divides them into 10 types: sake, synthetic sake, shochu, mirin, beer, fruit liquors, whiskey, spirits, liqueurs, and miscellaneous alcohol.

　日本の酒税法では，アルコール分1度以上の飲料を酒類と定め，清酒，合成清酒，焼酎（しようちゆう），みりん，ビール，果実酒類，ウィスキー類，スピリッツ類，リキュール類，雑酒の10種類に分けている。
