A trap in which fish are caught by artificially setting up areas that fish like to fish in using brush or dwarf. This type of fishing takes advantage of the tendency of fish to gather in dark places such as seaweed, driftwood, the shade of stones, or trees on the water bottom to spawn or hide. Bamboo, brush, straw, or shrubs with leaves attached are tied together with rope and attached to ropes or wooden frames with floats and sinkers, and the resulting traps are laid out on the sea surface, underwater, or on the sea bottom at intervals of several meters. When the fishing season arrives, the outside of the brush is surrounded by bamboo fences or partition nets, and the fish are caught using dip nets or sardine nets after being pulled up.
