Invader

Japanese: インベーダー
Invader
The term was established by a television drama of the same title produced in the United States in the 1960s. It generally means an invader from outside, but in science fiction it is often used specifically to refer to invaders from outer space. There have been many works based on this term since H.G. Wells's classic The War of the Worlds (1898).
