〘Noun〙① A document reporting rumors from various places. ※Hagakure (around 1716) 4 "During the reign of Lord Katsushige, documents called rumour reports were submitted." ② During the Edo period, reports on overseas information obtained through trade in Nagasaki were submitted to the shogunate.
