Common land - Iriaichi
In the Middle Ages, village communities and the lords of manors were granted common rights (joint use) to certain forests, fields, lakes, and ponds, and were able to graze their animals, pick fruit, and gather firewood, as well as obtain other necessities of life, in those areas.
