Vinylation - Vinyl (English spelling)

This is a reaction to introduce the vinyl group _CH2 =CH- into alcohols, amines, phenols, etc. Compounds obtained by vinylation, such as the polymer of N -vinylcarbazole, poly( N -vinylcarbazole), are used as one of the photoelectron materials. N -vinylcarbazole is synthesized, for example, by reacting carbazole with acetylene in the presence of an alkaline catalyst, or by reacting the potassium salt of carbazole with ethylene oxide to produce N- (2-hydroxyethyl)carbazole, which is then dehydrated.

アルコール、アミン、フェノールなどにビニル基CH₂＝CH-を導入する反応をいう。ビニル化で得られた化合物は、たとえば、N-ビニルカルバゾールの重合体、ポリ（N-ビニルカルバゾール）は光電子材料の一つとして利用される。N-ビニルカルバゾールは、たとえば、カルバゾールにアルカリ触媒の存在下でアセチレンを作用させるか、あるいはカルバゾールのカリウム塩に酸化エチレンを作用させて生成するN-(2-ヒドロキシエチル)カルバゾールを脱水して合成される。
