Vinyl resin - Binirujiushi (English spelling) vinyl resin

Monomers with the vinyl group _CH2 =CH- are called vinyl monomers, and vinyl resin is the general term for their polymerization. The term vinyl resin refers only to polymers that have the vinyl name, such as vinyl chloride, and examples of this are vinyl chloride resin and vinyl acetate resin. There are vinyl monomers that have a vinyl group but are called by their own names, and these polymers are not called vinyl resins.

ビニル基CH₂＝CH‐をもった単量体（モノマー）をビニル単量体とよび、これを重合させたものの総称である。ビニル樹脂とよぶのは、塩化ビニルのように、ビニルの名称をもつ重合体（ポリマー）だけをいい、塩化ビニル樹脂とか酢酸ビニル樹脂などがそうである。ビニル基がついていても特有の呼び方をするビニル単量体があり、それらの重合体はビニル樹脂とはいわない。
