Viswa [river] - Viswa
The river runs through central Poland from north to south, curving widely. It originates on the northern slope of the Carpathian Mountains, passes through Krakow, Warsaw, and other cities, and empties into the Gdansk Bay of the Baltic Sea east of Gdansk. It is connected by canals to the Odra River and the Dnieper River. Its total length is 1,087 km, of which 941 km is navigable.

ポーランド中央部を大きく湾曲しながらほぼ南北に貫流する川。カルパティア山脈北斜面に発し，クラクフ，ワルシャワなどを経て，グダンスク東方でバルト海のグダンスク湾に注ぐ。運河によってオドラ川やドニエプル川と結ばれる。全長1087km，うち可航941km。
