The sixth king of the First Babylonian Dynasty (reigned 1792-1750 BC). Also known as Hammurabi or Hammurabi. He unified the divided Babylonia, established the Marduk faith, and worked hard for the welfare of the people. In his later years, he issued the Code of Hammurapi.
