Kainayama

This mountain is located in Nishiiyayama Village, Miyoshi City, in the western part of Tokushima Prefecture. It is 1,333 meters above sea level. From 1,150 meters onwards, the slope is gentle, and a silver grass field stretches 400 meters wide and 4 kilometers long. In 1959 (Showa 34), it became a prefecture-run pasture, and dairy cows are bred on a contract basis. The northern ridge is used as a ski resort. It is part of Tsurugisan Quasi-National Park. Mizunoguchi Pass (1,110 meters) to the northeast of Udeyama is the old road from Inouchidani to Iya.

徳島県西部、三好(みよし)市西祖谷山(にしいややま)村にある山。標高1333メートル。1150メートル以上は緩傾斜をなし、幅400メートル、長さ4キロメートルのススキの原が広がる。1959年（昭和34）より県営放牧場となり、乳牛を委託飼育。北側の尾根はスキー場として利用される。剣山(つるぎさん)国定公園の一部。腕山北東の水ノ口峠（1110メートル）は井内谷(いのうちだに)から祖谷への旧道である。
