Partizansk (English spelling)

A mining city in Primorsky Krai, eastern Russia. It was called Suchan until 1972. It is located northeast of the port of Nakhodka and has a population of 45,800 (2003 estimate). Various types of coal are mined, and there are factories for enriching coal and repairing mining machinery. Industries include sewing, leatherwork, food processing plants, beer brewing, and meat processing plants. There are many archaeological remains in the limestone caves nearby.

ロシア東部、沿海地方の鉱業都市。1972年までスチャーンСучан/Suchanと称した。ナホトカ港の北東にあり、人口4万5800(2003推計)。各種の石炭が採掘され、その富鉱化工場や鉱業用機械の修理工場があり、縫製、皮革細工、食料品コンビナート、ビール醸造、精肉コンビナートなどの工業がある。付近の石灰岩洞穴などには考古学的遺跡が多い。
