Cape Nyudozaki

A cape jutting out into the Sea of ​​Japan at the northwestern tip of the Oga Peninsula in Akita Prefecture. Several coastal terraces can be seen, and the coast forms a 30-meter cliff. There is a lighthouse at the tip, and the surrounding area is covered with grass. The Mizushima reef in front is a source of abalone and turban shells, and is known as a fishing spot, and in summer, tourist boats operate to observe the seabed. The Tsugaru Mountains can be seen to the north, and roads connect from Happodai and Oga Onsenkyo, making it one of the bases for tourism in Oga. A bus can be taken from Hadachi Station on the JR Oga Line.

秋田県男鹿半島(おがはんとう)の北西端、日本海に突出する岬。数段の海岸段丘が認められ、海岸は30メートルの断崖(だんがい)となっている。突端に灯台があり、周辺は芝生に覆われている。前面の水島の岩礁はアワビ、サザエの産地で、釣り場としても知られ、夏季には海底観察の観光船も運航される。北方には津軽山地が眺望でき、八望台や男鹿温泉郷からの道路も通じ、男鹿観光の拠点の一つ。JR男鹿線羽立駅よりバスが通じる。
