Japanese: 七戸[町] - しちのへ

A town in Kamikita District, located in the central-eastern part of Aomori Prefecture, north of Sanbongihara. The main settlement was a post town on the Ou Highway and a castle town of the Nanbu Shichinohe Domain. It has a long history as a horse-breeding area, and is home to the Ou Breeding Farm. It also produces rice, Chinese yams, and tomatoes. In December 2010, the Tohoku Shinkansen was fully opened to Shin-Aomori Station, and Shichinohe-Towada Station opened. In March 2005, Tenmabayashi Village in Kamikita District was incorporated, and the town hall became the former Tenmabayashi Village Hall. The town sustained damage in the Great East Japan Earthquake. ^{337.23 km2} . 16,759 people (2010).

青森県中東部，三本木原北部にある上北郡の町。主集落は奥州街道の宿場町，南部七戸藩の城下町であった。古くからの馬産地で，奥羽種畜牧場がある。米，ナガイモ，トマトも産する。2010年12月新青森駅まで東北新幹線が全通し，七戸十和田駅が開業。2005年３月上北郡天間林村を編入し，町役場を旧天間林村役場とした。東日本大震災で，町内において被害が発生。337.23km²。１万6759人（2010）。
