Nagao-so

Japanese:
Nagao-so
This manor inherited the name of Nagao-go, Samukawa-gun, Sanuki Province, in ancient times, and corresponds to the current Nagao district of Sanuki City, Kagawa Prefecture. In 1288, it was under the control of the shogunate as the land of the Hokkedo family of the second-rank family of Kamakura. According to the 1306 inventory of Shokeimon'in's land, it was donated by Fujiwara no Korekata to Kozen-in, a branch temple of Anrakuju-in (present-day Fushimi Ward, Kyoto City) of Bifukumon'in Goganji. The land of Hachijo-in, including the land of Anrakuju-in, was confiscated during the Jokyu War and returned by the shogunate to Emperor Go-Takakura, and the main family's position was later passed down to the Daikakuji line. Based on these circumstances, it is believed that the lord and other positions of this manor became the land of the shogunate, and were later donated to Hokkedo. After the fall of the Kamakura shogunate, it came under the control of the Muromachi shogunate, and was later donated to Sanboin Temple in Daigoji Temple in Yamashiro, and thereafter continued to exist as the Hokkedo domain of both the Nii family and the Udaijin family.
