Born in the third year of the Choroku era. Served as deputy governor of Echigo (Niigata Prefecture) for the father and son Uesugi Fusasada and Fusayoshi. In the first year of the Eisho era, he assisted Kanto Kanrei Uesugi Akisada in attacking Musashi Kawagoe Castle (Saitama Prefecture). He fought against the Ikko Ikki in Etchu (Toyama Prefecture) and was killed in battle on September 19, 1112. He was 48 years old.
