A town in Hidaka County in western Wakayama Prefecture. Most of the area is mountainous, but watermelons, peas, and flowers are cultivated on coastal terraces. Rice and plums are also produced. The town's main fishing port is Innami, which is on the Kisei Main Line. The town also engages in fishing using set nets, and is a specialty of mosquito coils. 和歌山県西部,日高郡の町。大部分山地であるが,海岸段丘でスイカ,エンドウ,花卉(かき)の栽培が盛ん。米,ウメも産する。中心は紀勢本線が通じる漁港の印南。敷網などの漁業も行うほか,蚊取線香を特産する。阪和自動車道が通じる。113.62km2。8606人(2010)。
