Collection of Tosa Province Kanji - Tosa no Kuni tokanshu

Japanese: 土佐国蠧簡集 - とさのくにとかんしゅう

This is a chronological collection of medieval documents handed down in Tosa. It was compiled around 1725 by Okumiya Masaaki, a senior disciple of Tani Shigeto and a samurai of the Tosa domain. It contains 932 ancient documents, epigraphy, building plaques, family trees, etc. from 1151 to 1600-1603, when the Chosokabe clan was destroyed and the Yamauchi clan joined the domain, in a total of 9 volumes. Volumes 8 and 9 contain documents with no date, with the exception of a few. Okumiya served as the domain's inspector and magistrate, and while patrolling the domain, he also collected ancient documents. The owners and the number of documents in the collection are clearly stated, and Okumiya's commentary is written in places. The original has been lost, and copies exist, such as the Mori family version and the Yamauchi Bunko version in the Kochi Prefectural Library.

土佐国内に伝存した中世文書を集めた編年体の史料集。成立は1725年頃，編者は谷重遠(たにしげとお)の高弟で土佐藩士の奥宮正明(おくみやまさあき)。1151年から，長宗我部(ちょうそかべ)氏が滅亡し山内氏が入部する1600年−1603年に至る，古文書932点・金石文・棟札類・系図等を全９巻に収め，８・９巻は一部を除き無年号のものを収録している。奥宮は藩の検見役・代官役を務め，藩内を巡回するかたわら古文書の採訪を行った。収録資料には所蔵者・所蔵点数が明記され，所々に奥宮の註解が記されている。原本は失われ，写本は高知県立図書館蔵の森家本・山内文庫本などがある。
