Japanese: 住吉仲皇子 - すみのえのなかつおうじ

A son of Emperor Nintoku who appears in the Kojiki and Nihonshoki.
His mother was Iwanohime no Mikoto. After the death of Emperor Nintoku, he plotted to kill his older brother, the Crown Prince (later Emperor Richu), by setting fire to the Crown Prince's palace, but the Crown Prince escaped to Isonokami Shrine. Later, he was assassinated by a Hayato sashihire (a swordsman) on the orders of the Crown Prince's younger brother (later Emperor Hanzei).

記・紀にみえる仁徳(にんとく)天皇の皇子。
母は磐之媛命(いわのひめのみこと)。仁徳天皇死後,同母兄の皇太子(のちの履中天皇)殺害をはかり皇太子の宮に火をはなったが,皇太子は石上(いそのかみ)神宮にのがれた。のち皇太子の同母弟(のちの反正天皇)の命をうけた隼人(はやと)の刺領巾(さしひれ)に暗殺された。
