Doumou Senshu - Doumou Senshu

Japanese: 童蒙先習 - どうもうせんしゅう

This is an introductory textbook for beginners created in Korea during the Yi Dynasty. It was written by Park Se-mo (1487-1564), a Confucian scholar from Hamyang, in 1541. It became widely used after the mid-17th century as calligraphy developed. It consists of a preface, five relationships, a general overview of Confucianism, and a historical summary of China and Korea, and is 226 lines long in 17 books. The phonetic notation "吐" is used in the annotation, making it an appropriate "abbreviation of the Jingshizhi" (the minimum essentials) of education. The wooden version published in 1699 at Gyujanggak has a preface by Sukjong and a postscript by Song Siyeol.

朝鮮で李朝時代に作られた初学者のための入門的な教科書。不遇の儒臣，咸陽の人朴世茂(1487‐1564)の著で，1541年に成った。17世紀中葉以後書堂の発達に伴って広く行われた。内容は序，五倫，儒学総論，中国および朝鮮の歴代要義(歴史)からなり，分量は17帳226行。音を示す〈吐〉を割注で入れ，好適の〈経史之略〉すなわち最小必要な教育内容(ミニマム･エッセンシャルズ)を成している。1699年刊奎章閣板本には粛宗の序と宋時烈の跋が付されている。
