Eastern magazine (English: Dong-fang za-zhi; Tung-fsang tsa-chih)

Japanese: 東方雑誌 - とうほうざっし（英語表記）Dong-fang za-zhi; Tung-fsang tsa-chih

A general magazine published in China for nearly half a century since the end of the Qing Dynasty. It was published by the Commercial Press in Shanghai from 1904 to 1948, first monthly and then bimonthly. It maintained a moderate and neutral stance and published a wealth of government documents, editorials, important records and other historical materials. It was republished by the Commercial Press in Taiwan in 1968 and continues to be published to this day.

中国，清末より半世紀近く発行された総合雑誌。上海の商務印書館により光緒 30 (1904) 年から 1948年まで，初め月刊，のち半月刊で発行された。穏健中立的な立場を貫き，政府発表の文書，論説，大事記など歴史的資料を豊富に掲載した。なお台湾の商務印書館により 68年に復刊され，現在にいたっている。
