Conflict

A form of conflict between people. It can be thought of as struggle and competition, and both are the same in that the parties involved deny each other, but competition is oriented toward a goal itself and only indirectly denies the other, whereas struggle differs in that it directly denies the other. Forms of struggle include war, private fights, and arguments. There are a variety of forms of struggle, ranging from personal-level ones such as duels to class struggle, ethnic struggle, and war between nations, and they also vary in content, including cultural struggle, economic struggle, and power struggle. 人間相互の対立関係の一形式。闘争と競争とが考えられ，当事者相互が相手を否定する点では両者は同一であるが，競争は目標そのものを志向するのであって，間接的に相手を否定するにすぎないのに対して，闘争は直接的に相手を否定する点で異なっている。戦争，私闘，論争などが闘争の形式である。決闘のような個人レベルのものから，階級闘争，民族闘争，国家間戦争にいたる多様なものがあり，また，文化闘争，経済闘争，権力闘争など，内容面でも多岐にわたる。
