Ajar people - Ajarjin

...Except for the coastal plains facing the Black Sea in the west, most of the country is mountainous in the Caucasus Mountains, and the southern part of the country borders Turkey. The Adjars are a Georgian tribe that converted from Christianity to Islam during the Turkish rule of the region (16th to 19th centuries). They basically retain the Georgian language.
