This is a record written by successive administrators of Toji Temple, including Tadayu, Sadai, and Eizou. It spans the period from 1330 (Gentoku 2) to 1751 (Horeki 1), but is intermittent. There are various copies, and it is also called "Toji-ki," "Toki," or "Toji-ji Gyokko-ki." The contents cover matters within Toji Temple, such as the appointment of various temple positions, various religious ceremonies, various ceremonies, annual events, the construction and repair of subsidiary temples, and the control of temple estates and manors, as well as the activities of the shogunate, shugo daimyo, and other temples and shrines.
