Born in the first year of the Kyoroku era. Younger brother of Miyoshi Nagayoshi. Lord of Kishiwada Castle in Izumi (Osaka Prefecture). He held the castles of Yura, Sumoto, Iwaya, and other parts of Awaji. Skilled in waka poetry and calligraphy, he wrote a collection of linked verse poems called the Ataka Fuyuyasu Kushu. He was killed by his older brother Nagayoshi on May 9, the seventh year of the Eiroku era, as part of a plot by Matsunaga Hisahide. He was 37 years old. He was commonly known as Kamofuyu.
