A structure in which the entire building, including columns, beams, and floors, is a continuous, integrated structure. It is made by injecting plastic materials into a mold (formwork) and forming it, so in principle it is possible to use a one-piece structure made of plastic, glass, clay, cast iron, aluminum, etc. However, when considering performance conditions such as livability, earthquake resistance, fire resistance, durability, and maintenance, and production conditions such as the production and acquisition of materials, ease of construction and management at the work site, and reliability, it generally refers to structures made of cast-in-place concrete, such as reinforced concrete construction.
