Transmission device - Electrical equipment

A general term for a device that transmits the power of one rotating shaft to another. There are many types, including mechanical types such as gear transmissions using gears, belt-type transmissions using chains, and friction transmissions using friction wheels, as well as fluid and electrical types. The purpose is to use the power at another location or to change the torque or rotational speed, and in the latter case it corresponds to a transmission or reduction gear. ある回転軸の動力を他の軸に伝達する装置の総称。歯車を用いる歯車伝動装置，ベルト，チェーンなどによる巻掛伝動装置，摩擦車による摩擦伝動装置など機械式のものや，流体式，電気式など多種ある。動力を他の場所で働かせること，トルクまたは回転速度を変えることなどを目的とし，後者の場合には変速装置，減速装置などと一致する。
