Ichihasama [town] - Ichihasama
An old town in Kurihara County, located in the middle reaches of the Hitasako River in northern Miyagi Prefecture. Masaka, the town in the center, is a small commercial center along the Tome Highway and the commercial center of the surrounding rural areas. In April 2005, it merged with the towns of Tsukidate, Wakayagi, Kurikoma, Takashimizu, Semine, Uguisuzawa, Kanari, Shibahime, and Hanayama in Kurihara County to become a city. 87.58 km2 . 9,425 people (2003).

宮城県北部，一迫川中流域を占める栗原郡の旧町。中心の真坂(まさか)は登米(とめ)街道に沿う小商業中心地で，付近農村の商業中心地。2005年４月栗原郡築館町，若柳町，栗駒町，高清水町，瀬峰町，鶯沢町，金成町，志波姫町，花山村と合併し市制，栗原市となる。87.58km2。9425人（2003）。
