A family of hereditary Noh mask makers in the early modern period. The family was founded by Genri Yoshimitsu (died 1705), who was a disciple and son-in-law of Kogenkyu Mitsunaga, the fourth head of the Echizen Deme family, and is also called the Genri family because generations of the family were given the name "Genri". The family died out with the second head, Sumitsu, and the third head, Sukemitsu, but Sumitsu's younger brother, Wakasa Ogura Gensuke Takamitsu, made a name for himself.
