A religion founded in 1908 by Nakayama Tsuyu (1862-1936). Its headquarters are in Kibitsu, Okayama City. While Tsuyu was active as a mountain ascetic of the Tozan school of Shugendo, he was influenced by the rise of nationalism before the First Sino-Japanese War and studied at Inoue Enryo's Philosophy School, and opened the Kansai Philosophy School in Osaka. He formed a unique religious philosophy that combined Shinto, Confucianism, Buddhism, and Taoism with Taoism and Zhuangzi, and actively preached the merits of accumulating good deeds in secret. Those who followed his teachings were named Fukuda Kaiin, after the four fields of good fortune of Prince Shotoku, and in 1900 he obtained a share of the eternal flame of the law of Mount Hiei, making him the center of the religious faith of the sect, and in 1908 announced the founding of Fukuda Kaiin in Osaka.
