Call quality - tsuuwahinshitsu (English) speech quality

A term used to quantitatively express how clearly the other person can hear what you are saying when talking on the phone. It depends on the quality of the speaker, the receiver, and the transmission equipment that transmits the voice. First, the quality of the transmission looks at how completely the information from the speaker's speech is converted into an electrical signal. The quality of the reception looks at how correctly the received voice was heard and understood. Transmission quality measures how faithfully the transmission system transmitted and reproduced the speech under certain transmission and reception conditions. Measures used for the above include single tone intelligibility, word intelligibility, syllable intelligibility, sentence intelligibility, opinion score (an evaluation method that quantifies the speaker's subjective quality evaluation using statistical means), intelligibility equivalent attenuation, and speech equivalent.
