Japanese: 長者教 - ちょうじゃきょう

Kana-zoshi. Author unknown. 1 volume. Published in 1627. As the book states, "No matter what, we all want money," the townspeople's way of life is to strive for wealth, and in this regard, it preaches prudence, thrift, and honesty. This book was read for a long time after its publication in the early modern period, and has influenced many works, including "Tamenoguchi Monogatari" (62) and "Konchoja Monogatari" (before 75).

仮名草子。作者未詳。1冊。寛永4 (1627) 年刊。「なににつけても，かねのほしさよ」と述べられているように，町人の生き方は致富に求められ，それをめぐって分別，倹約，正直が説かれる。本書は近世初期に出版されてからも長く読まれ，さらに『為愚痴物語』 (62) ，『今長者物語』 (75以前) などをはじめとしてさまざまな影響を与えている。
