Thiopental

It is an ultra-short-acting barbiturate anesthetic. With a normal intravenous dose, it immediately induces a deep state of anesthesia that lasts for about 20 minutes. It is widely used for rapid induction, but since it has a depressant effect on the respiratory and circulatory systems, artificial respiration equipment is required when using it. In the Aum Shinrikyo incident that came to light in 1995, it was reported that it was secretly used as a truth serum within the cult, and it became widely known.
