Sun's anteroposterior

The direction in which the Sun moves relative to nearby stars. This can be determined by measuring the proper motion and radial velocity of the stars. Although the stars move randomly relative to the nearby stars, the Sun also moves at about 19.5 kilometers per second in the direction of right ascension 18 degrees and declination 30 degrees. This is the solar antipode, which is located in the eastern part of the constellation Hercules.

太陽が近傍の恒星たちに対して運動している方向。これは恒星たちの固有運動や視線速度を測定することによって求められる。恒星は近傍の星々に対してそれぞれ無秩序に運動しているが、太陽も秒速19.5キロメートルほどで赤経18時、赤緯30度の方向に運動している。これが太陽向点で、ヘルクレス座の東部にあたる。
